When searching for the river who-must-not-be-named, search the Southeastern part of the continent. For the best look almost directly north of Melbourne. Considering how large it is, this 2,508 km river should be quite the piece of cake! The Australian Alps are the source of this certain influential source of water. Not only is this river one of the longest in Australia, but it’s also claimed to be one of the longest navigable rivers in the world. While this lengthy river begins in the mountains, it empties into the Indian Ocean. Free from Crocodiles and Sharks, have a blast going for a swim if you ever get the chance!
